民進黨總統當選人蔡英文展開請益之旅，今天上午拜會親民黨主席宋楚瑜，兩人在選後首度見面，雙方在台北長榮桂冠酒店會面。會談在十一點半多結束，共同對外說明。
蔡英文表示，會談中對於教育司法等改革方式，發現兩人相近之處非常多，改革要循序漸進，多做溝通。(李人岳)
宋楚瑜在會後記者會也表示，就目前台灣面臨的問題，他跟蔡英文的看法非常接近，必須要放下藍綠，沒有必要持續對立，彼此以務實的態度，妥慎處理之間的關係。
